Nerve Pain

Comparing to other aches, nerve pain probably is the worst pain among all. It strongly disturbs the quality of living, affects normal daily activities, and causes significant level of stress.

Nerve pain could happen to any parts of the body. It could happen on the face such as in trigeminal neuralgia; at the wrists such as in carpal tunnel syndrome, at the lower spine as in sciatica, and the others like Bell’s palsy and shingles; just to name a few, and there are stubborn types of neuropathies such as diabetic neuropathic, MS (multiple sclerosis), fibromyalgia or injury-related nerve damage.

Nerve pain sometimes characterised as a persistent agonising pain, or it can be aggravated abruptly without an obvious cause, or, shocking pain upon touched or when moved.

The nerve signals and receives feedbacks , if the normal physiological mechanisms and pathways are ‘sick’, they can rolein a lot of different types of pain, like tingling, numbness, weakness, burning, stabbing, slicing and electric-shock. These are the sensory parts of neural tracks, on the other hand, nerve degeneration can cause muscular weakness and wasting as it can happen after a stroke, motor tracks are affected.
